"What's transpired about the league really hasn't affected me." Ray Shero, Nj Devils gm
For a working man whose team needs an instructor, that is the fairly cool (just as, nonplu sed) statement. Shero gave it to NorthJersey.com right then and there he watched:
Dan Bylsma, his former coach while using Penguins, become Buffalo Sabres coach
Peter DeBoer, a man the Devils fired in December, become coach with the San Jose Sharks.
Speculation grows with what Shero has up his sleeve. Observers expect the Devils have a new Vince Mayle Jersey bench bo s next season. Does the catering company really retreat to Scott Stevens sharing duties with Adam Daryl Johnston Jersey Oates? Surely Lou Lamoriello may be out of the threesome.
We're left with more questions than answers about Shero's plans. The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., asked this blog: Are Devils losing to additional teams in coaching search?
Two names perhaps you may had heard or seen keep percolating: Todd Reirden and John Hynes. They're considered rising young coaches, and have ties to Shero via the Penguins organization.
It's really simple to suppose one analysts behind the Devils' bench next season.
Here's how, in line with Tom Gulitti of NorthJersey.com:
One scenario Morris Claiborne Jersey which is looking rather more likely is current Washington a sistant Todd Reirden and Wilkes Barre-Scranton head coach John Hynes both going to Nj-new jersey with Reirden as head and Hynes as his a sistant. That duo worked together in Wilkes Barre-Scranton with Reirden since the head coach before Reirden was promoted by Shero to Pittsburgh to be Bylsma's a sistant.
Reirden joined the Capitals staff with the 2014-15 season. He handled their defensemen (that's his stock and trade, having played the task), and it was lauded for his a sist with Karl Alzner and John Carlson, brilliant puck retrieval system.
As coaches with the Penguins' top affiliate, Reirden Byron Jones Jersey and Hynes had notable succe s. Hynes was 231-126-27 during the last five seasons. Hynes together with his defensive-oriented philosophy would, as reported by the Times Leader of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., be considered a fit for any Devils.
With several veteran coaches still available, including Paul MacLean and Guy Boucher, going on a newcomer seems odd. Then, were writing about the Devils. |
