RBI   Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities   is operated through the Rainier Vista Boys Girls Club where Pollard is the athletic director. There's a fee to be a member of the club, but some kids do volunteer work as mentors or coaches to cover costs.. 
The playoff atmosphere is all brand new to them, and their approach to it is keeping the seniors on their toes and kept them energized. And the seniors have shown a lot of leadership, teaching the younger players the way to play the game. They have communicated well and helped us develop into a true team.".
