What I really wish was better is the PUBG Skins sound. The audio is simply crap, with incredibly compressed audio clips that if played over headphones sound as though they are coming through the speaker. Vehicle noise in particular is bad. Your footsteps are also frustratingly loudly and considering how long spent walking or running it does begin grating on you after a while. I get that you are supposed to listen to footsteps of your competitors to know they're nearby but there's no reason to listen to your footsteps so loudly.

Network functionality was okay but again it is not a major deal. Latency was consistently above 100ms for me, usually above 200ms and at times even over 300ms. On PC this would kill you and you would not even find out before 1/3 of a second later. On mobile I did not think that it made a difference. It's worth considering that this could move up if you're playing outside on a cell connection.

Overall, PUBG Mobile is a remarkably excellent port. Most of what makes the game so damn popular remains there and since it is on cellular, the shortcomings associated with controls, visuals and network performance are not even remotely as aggravating as they are about different platforms. The game is PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds Skins free, which sounds like a deal until you play with it for a few minutes and suddenly feel like purchasing the Windows or Xbox version. This is surely a way to get you to obtain the full-fat version of the sport, a gateway drug of sorts. That is fine, just bear in mind that those models have their own problems, which really are a lot less costly once you've paid real money for this.PUBG Requires Players Away from Concurrent Shooters on Steam
