Bosses were pretty hard at the start of BC, and they got quite a few nerfs along the way, but it seems we'll be getting their (mostly) un-nerfed versions when Classic comes out! They didn't specifiy what these modifications would be, but talked about them leaning on the reducing player frustration side of things instead of the lowering difficulty side, with and example of presumably M'uru (it's unclear what the typo in the article is referring to):What that would look like exactly remains to be seen, and it'll be particularly interesting to see if they allow for (then) unkillable bosses to remain that way, aka are we going to be getting original pre-nerf Kael'thas and his insane councilors and weapons back?
Perhaps we can find out if they truly were impossible or not! There's more details and comments from the developers in the PC Gamer interview, so make sure to check the full thing out here.In any case, this is very good news, as Vanilla Classic has been somewhat lessened by the very much nerfed raid bosses and post late-game class-buff patch setup, so everything died incredibly quickly on raid launch days. Let's hope this strategy ends up seeing some actual races for Burning Crusade bosses!
