Have many a million of hours at that series from the times it had been called ChamMan. And yeah, I will certainly agree that NBA/mt nba 2k21 seldom innovate, but does FM/Sega possibly, it's not like they invent the lightbulb every calendar year, and that's the problem with series which have more or less competition/monopoly, since they don't will need to enhance, since they know people will only buy their game anyways. Same goes to Fifa, NBA, FM, PCM, Madden matches, CoD and the list goes on.
I am just as big of a fan as FM because you obviously are, but if you believe that FM/Sega is reinventing the wheel every year you're only intentionally lying to yourself:P The thing that really DOES alter every year however is a upgraded transfer/database, which is very often updated by the neighborhood anyway, so you can live without it. Today, perhaps every 3-4 year there is a new thing into the game that's worth mentioning, be it better control over tactics, or better 3d matches etc.. And certain, then it may really be super worth picking up a fresh variant of it. I will not deny that.
But it certainly is not something one NEEDS to buy every year. BUT, I also know that, as somebody posted XQC saying, is that sports enthusiast are super fanatic in their games/series, or I guess one can call it passionate, and considering FM is a cult series, there are clearly going to be folks out there that believe I am actually calling FM a lousy game or shitting on it, which I am not, so far from it. The only thing missing is dynamic youth level and those other country particular attributes. They wont present anything new anymore, they just have to flesh out the qualities in the game that are rather barebone. The Sports games are like this trigger normies buy the game just as the new number on it every year. They get sold garbage and they don't care cause it's the brand new roll changes or whatever.
