Well, for the NA version anyhow, since JP's been out for almost a decade.

The problem is that PSO2 Meseta may end up in a PSU situation in which another game is out, but they do not update it anymore and just keep the game alive until the populace falls below the point where they can justify keeping the servers up. Announcing this to get a four month old sport where a great deal of things are not likely to be transferring over makes it like a money grab. To me, it even feels as though they're trying to double dip at this time.

Because of bullshit like SG scratch. That pissed a great deal of people off and SEGA does not care. On top of that since release the windows store has been a plague on this game and it isn't even the shop doing this. It's that they made the windows shop program flat out incorrect. It is not fun for a great deal of people when their match nukes itself over and above ON TOP of only complete greed. They can't even manage to eliminate the exact same RMT spammers in block 1-3 that have been sitting there for days. They just don't care.

If you're on JP, you're probably fine. But, NA came out four weeks back and its buy meseta pso2 replacement is currently on its way. Normally, Sega's Phantasy Star show last about 2-3 years before shutting down Why do you believe people are going to abandon the game?

Cash grab would use whether the match's registered data didn't carry over. So long as it does, and it appears that it will, then the playerbase ought to be OK.
