The Vans Slip-On Womens has been a lifestyle staple since debuting in 1977 and his been reworked with prints and patterns, luxurious materials and premium graphics countless times. Perhaps its the simplicity of the of the silhouette and the limitless possibilities of what the skate brand can do utilizing this shoe as a blueprint that continuously has the brand featuring it in large-spanning collections. Here we see what’s in store for
the Vans Slip-On Purchase for Spring 2015. With a variety of premium leather woven styles, metallic silver and gold for the ladies, embossed snakeskin, and classic canvas, there’s something for everyone.

As a long-time Vans collaborative partner, mastermind Japan‘s signature skull-and-crossbones logo has graced many of the California-based brand’s signature silhouettes — from the Vans Sk8-Hi to the Vans Old Skool. Now the two are back again for another small co-branded capsule collection, built around the Vans Slip-On Mens. This time around, mastermind has opted to amplify the Slip-On’s house shoe-style by dressing it in a black satin to give off a cozy silky look. Per usual, their signature skull and crossbones logo is featured prominently — embroidered on the toebox in black and grey — while more subtle detailing is provided by tonal black script embroidered on the tongue and gold stitched text on the heel.

Vans’ unique ability to add new and refreshing patterns to its canvas-ridden uppers is largely unmatched. Year in and year out, the Anaheim-based skate brand remixes its time-tested staples with the implementation of playful patterns the likes of its Peanuts collection, its Marvel’s Avengers capsule, and its numerous Mickey Mouse-ridden creations to name a few. Now, the Vans Era, Vans Slip-On Cheap, and Vans Old Skool silhouettes are calling upon a Romantic Floral aesthetic with black, blue, and red bases aided by white roses, which is commonly used as a symbol for love and affection to further its incredible arsenal.

First rumored to be a surprise collaboration with Virgil Abloh, the deconstructed efforts by Vans’ own design team has surely garnered some well-deserved buzz from fashion enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike. Deconstructed in its overall appearance the pack first introduced a fused Sk8-Hi as well as an accompanying Vans Slip-On Sale, innovating on everything the label has done thus far. Usually a laceless affair, this unique fusion of the more casual silhouette with the intricate Old Skool is set to return once again in different color options.
